Lough Key House

Lough Key House is a pleasing georgian period house set on 10 acres adjoining Lough Key Forest Park. Its 3 best bedrooms are offered to welcome guests. We provide a superb breakfast of a generous buffet of fresh & stewed fruits,freshly squeezed juice organic yogurt,cereals freshly made porridge,home baked bread,eggs from our own hens as well as full irish breakfast of course.Vegetarians & Vegans are happily catered for as well as any other special diets. After breakfast there's plenty to do from Hillwalking on the Curlews and Bricklieves to Angling on Lough Key or enjoying the new Activity centre beside the lake or rowing out to one of its islands or Golfing at Woodbrook or Surfing at Strandhill. In the evening you can relax in our warm and inviting sittingroom with lots of books,boardgames and a flatscreen tv with a large dvd library. We hope to make your visit to this less touristed part of the world enjoyable and memorable and let you leave feeling you have found a little gem!
