| The house and cottage are set within a walled garden beside the Inch Brook adjoining fields. We have double, twin and family rooms, all ensuite, in both the main house and the cottage annexe. There is wheelchair access from the car park and a ground floor room with fully adapted bathroom (shower with seat and grab rails).
Breakfast is taken in the dining room on the ground floor of the main house, or in the garden, weather permitting. On the top floor is a games room with a pool table, and a reception/waiting area adjacent to the dining room
There are plenty of places to sit in the garden, where watching wildlife can also give much pleasure – we feed badgers at night by the stream, the stream is an otter route, we observe a colony of pipistrelle bats, and many birds come to visit us. Pets are also welcome, and the area is ideal for dog-walking. Woodchester Park and Mansion are on our doorstep, and you can walk for several hours along the lakeside and woodland paths without seeing a soul.
Nailsworth is a centre for excellence when it comes to eating out, and we offer a courtesy car service to those we recommend. From the Weighbridge Inn with its famous two-in-one pies, to the award-winning Passage to India, restaurants with a Mediterranean flavour and tucked-away local pubs, there is something for every taste. It is a thriving town with small independent shops which offer everything you might need, and more. With the largest number of working waterwheels of any town, ancient stone springheads and 150 footpaths, many of which linked these mills to the hillside hamlets, there is much to see before even venturing out of the immediate area.
We are ideally placed for exploring the West Country, Bath and Forest of Dean as well as the Cotswolds. We can recommend routes and suggest places well off the beaten track, as well as point you in the direction of the famous Cotswold and Wiltshire attractions. So much is within easy reach during a day's sightseeing - the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms in Bath, Berkeley Castle, Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust, Castle Combe, Malmesbury Abbey Gardens, Westonbirt Arboretum, Avebury, Cirencester, Cheltenham Racecourse, Symond's Yat, Upton on Severn, Gloucester Docks and Cathedral, Bibury, Snowshill Manor, Bourton-on-the-Water and a host of other places.

| DIRECTIONS
Lying just off the A46 between Cheltenham and Bath, three miles south of Stroud, one mile north of Nailsworth, The Laurels is tucked into a sharp bend in the road, at the foot of Cow Lane.
From the M5 (North): Leave M5 at Junction 13 and take the A419 towards Stroud. Before reaching the centre of Stroud, pick up the signs for the A46 south towards Bath (and Nailsworth). Follow the A46 for about 2 miles, then look for the Crown Inn on the right of a sharp ‘S’ bend. Turn off towards the pub – The Laurels is to the right of the pub.
From the M4 Westbound (London): Leave the M4 at Junction 15 taking the A419 to Cirencester, then Stroud. On reaching Stroud take the bypass towards the A46 (Bath and Nailsworth). Follow the A46 for about 3 miles, then look for the Crown Inn on the right of a sharp ‘S’ bend. Turn off towards the pub – The Laurels is to the right of the pub.
