| Woodleigh Coach House is a Grade II listed building originally constructed by a London Brewer in the late 19th century. Situated in Cheriton Bishop, on the old stagecoach road from London to Exeter and Penzance, and in close proximity to Dartmoor, it was a perfect location to store and distribute beer around Devon and Cornwall.
Now a Bed and Breakfast Guest House located just off the main A30 dual carriageway provides excellent links to the West Country. Being only minutes from the main route has easy access to or from Exeter City Center, Okehampton, Dartmoor National Park and Cornwall.

The Coach House provides luxury newly refurbished accommodation, all rooms having en-suite facilities. The Cafe, situated in the East Wing serves Breakfasts, Lunches and Afternoon Teas. The Cafe terrace overlooks open countryside, to sit and enjoy a leisurely meal; break from your journey or relax in between other leisure activities. Plenty of free parking and we are dog friendly! |

The two rooms located at the top of the building are large rooms with single beds in. Room 6 is a family/triple room while room 7 is a fantastic twin. Considered to be the best room in the building, it offers the best views of the devonshire countryside, plenty of space in the room and a fantastic relaxed atmosphere. | Room Rate

Directions

| By Car
From the north, south or east follow the A30 from Exeter, signposted Okehampton. After approx. 9 miles take the left exit for Woodleigh Junction/Cheriton Bishop. The Coach House is on the right towards the village. From the west take the A30 to Exeter, 5 miles after Whiddon Down take Woodleigh Junction exit and follow signs.
Public Transport
From Exeter and Okehampton take the X30 or 173 Stagecoach buses to Cheriton Bishop (Cross/Good Knight) and walk towards Tedburn St Mary/Woodleigh Junction. After approx. 1/4, we're just on the left. |
