| An exclusive chalet and a cottage are situated on a two acre property in Noordhoek. Noordhoek is situated at the foot of Chapman's Peak and has a delightful village atmosphere; the ambience is tranquil and serene, with plenty of wide open spaces, a magnificent 7 kilometre stretch of unique beach and breathtaking scenery. Despite its country atmosphere, Noordhoek has a lot to offer, including restaurants, a shopping mall, horse-riding, whale watching, hiking trails, surfing, bird-watching, a game reserve, a seasonal art route, plus nearby golf courses, camel rides and a penguin colony.
Your chalet and cottage borders on Table Mountain National Park. A variety of hens, geese, guinea fowl and rabbits roam allover the property. It is a common occurrence to observe black eagles, hawks, owls and meerkats. You will also find yourself in the company of 5 miniature horses, a Great Dane, 2 poodles and a Daschund. There is a koi and goldfish pond, as well as a large duck pond. The property boasts an entirely indigenous garden incorporating a wide variety of protea species.
From here you have a genuine 270 degree sensational sweeping view of the mountains, the valley and the sea.

Things To Do

| The Longbeach Shopping Mall is a few kilometers away. There is a large variety of shops,restaurants, banks as well as six cinemas. At the adjoining smaller shopping centre there is a post office. Nearby is the Noordhoek Farm Village which has various curio shops, restaurants and a farmstall with a variety of fresh produce and home-baked confectionery.
One finds the Constantia Wine Route (15min), Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (20min), Cape Point (25min), Cape Town and the V&A Waterfront (30min), and Stellenbosch Wine Route (45min).

A wooden staircase leads to your luxurious chalet and private deck. The chalet consists of a lounge/dining-room with open-plan kitchen; main bedroom with king-size bed (or twin beds), built-in cupboards and en-suite bathroom (bath, toilet, basin, heated towel rail), a second bedroom with king-size bed (or twin beds) and bathroom (shower, toilet, basin). The kitchen is fully equiped (oven, hob, microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery).
The following are supplied: hair dryer, linen, bath towels, beach towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath, coffee, tea, sugar, plus milk, fresh fruit and flowers on arrival.
There is full satellite TV with own decoders (more than 40 channels including BBC, SKY, CNN).

The Chalet
In season
(1 Nov to 30 April) Minimum rate R600 per night for 2 guests.
Additional guests pay R100 per adult and R50 per child (7 to 12 years).

(1 May to 31 Oct) Minimum rate R500 per night for 2 guests. Additional guests pay R100 per adult and R50 per child (7 to 12 years).

Minimum stay of 3 nights
Servicing of the chalet
The chalet is not serviced on a daily basis. It is serviced twice a week.
Bath and beach towels will be changed with every service.
Laundry:
Washing of laundry will be charged for by the load:

There is an iron and ironing board in your chalet.
(Servicing and laundry are not done on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays)

Directions
|
| We are approximately 35km from Cape Town.
From the Cape Town Airport, take the N2 towards Cape Town.
Take the M3 off-ramp towards Muizenberg.
Continue on the M3 until it comes to an end at the traffic lights. Turn right at these lights. Go through the next set of traffic lights. Turn left to go over Ou Kaapse Weg.
Drive over the pass. When you come to the bottom of Ou Kaapse Weg, you take the first right turn into Silvermine Road. Continue along this road. When you reach the T-junction, turn left. Drive for 1km and take the first left into Sea Cottage Drive. Continue for +- 500meters. Turn left into Devon Air Close. You will see our white wall on your left with Enchanted Garden on it. Press buzzer at the gate. Come in and park in your garage directly on your left. We will meet you there. |
