Property Description

 
South Lodge Cottage is a well appointed self-catering cottage, overlooking a sparkling pool set in a large garden with views of the mountains. The serviced cottage is tastefully decorated, with an open plan kitchen and sitting room, double bedroom and bathroom with under-floor heating. It is possible to accommodate a third person in the lounge. Satellite TV offers a wide selection of channels and there is broadband internet access, a sound system and a private telephone. The cottage has its own private entrance and secure off-street parking. Guests staying for two weeks or more may exchange nights booked for a stay at our holiday cottage in Hermanus on the coast (subject to availability). Between July and November whales are prolific in Walker Bay and Hermanus offers the finest land based whale-watching in the world.

Things To Do

The cottage is situated within the Constantia wine-route and an hour from Stellenbosch and Franschoek wine-routes. We are close to several fine golf courses as well as numerous fine restaurants. A 15 minute drive takes you to many beautiful beaches and there are many wonderful forest walks and mountain hikes in the area, as well as horse riding trails.

Directions

From Cape Town Internatioanl Airport. Take the highway into the city, but turn left on the M3 - Muizenberg turn off. Continue of M3 until the Ladies Mile turnoff. Continue along Ladies Mile Road crossing over Spaanschematriver Road into Ladies Mile Extenstion. We are No. 10 on the left hand side of road.
