We have been awarded 3 stars with visitscotland and are also part of the Walking, fishing, golfing and Cyclists 'welcome' schemes. Storage is available for cycles, golfing and fishing equipment. Things To Do

| Annan is located midway between Carlisle and Dumfries and is only a few miles from Gretna Green. We are perfectly located to explore the North Lakes, Hadrians Wall, The Borders and the towns of Carlisle, Dumfries and Moffat.
Stunning sites, such as Caerlaverock castle & its WWT and Sweetheart Abbey are not to be missed.
Annan is at the gateway to the Solway Coast Trail and cyclists pass through Annan on the cycle route 7 and nearby on cycle route 74. The forestry commision sites of Ae, Mabie and Kirroughtree are perfect for stunning views and, for the more adventurous, the world class 7Stanes mountain bike courses.
The River Annan is famous for its salmon and trout. Tuition can be arranged with a local expert. There are numerous excellent golf courses to choose from, including Powfoot and Southerness. |

| Annan is Located aprox 8 miles from M6/M74 on the A75 to Dumfries and Stranraar. To find The Old Rectory, on entering Annan, follow the signs to the museum. At the traffic lights, turn into Bank Street and drive past the museum. Follow this short street, which turns into St Johns road. The Old Rectory is situated on the left next to St Johns Church. Private car parking is available at the rear of the property. |
