Trinity college was founded in 1592 and is today home to the Book of Kells, Many a great graduate attended Trinity College such as Jonathan Swift and Oscar Wilde.
Dublin Castle, Dublin 2
Dublin castle was built about 1204 by King John of England and a tour of this magnificent Castle is a must.
National Museum of Ireland, Kildare Street, Dublin 2
The museum first opened its doors in 1890 and today contains artefacts dating from 7000 BC to the 20th century. which include The Treasury, featuring examples of Celtic and Medieval art such as the famous Ardagh Chalice, Tara Brooch and the Derrynaflan Hoard.
Probably the best way to see and learn about Dublin city is to join the hop on, hop off bus tour in the city.

| BY CAR
From the airport, follow the signs for the City Centre. After about 5 minutes or so, you will see The Regency Hotel on your left hand side. Pass by the hotel, and turn left at the traffic lights, onto Griffith Avenue. Drive straight ahead, and at the second set of traffic lights turn right. Take the next left turn, and we are the second house on the right hand side
BY BUS
Take a public bus and not the Aircoach. Travel only as far as the Regency
Hotel (this will be on your left, or ask the driver of the bus to call you)
and turn left at the traffic lights, onto Griffith Avenue. Proceed to the
second set of traffic lights and turn right (Gracepark Road) and almost
immediately left (Gracepark Terrace) and we are the second house on the
right.
