Things To Do
|
| There’s just so much to do we can’t possibly include everything but here’s a few favourites. We’ve lots of maps and leaflets that you’re welcome to borrow.
For most, the attraction of this area is the wild life. Miles and miles of wild coastline with dunes and sandy beaches (often all to yourself). This is the county that inspired Tennyson.
For shopping and restaurants, Louth, an old fashioned market town with unique shops and thriving farmers’ markets is only 9 miles. For bookaholics and antique hunters, Horncastle is a must. Lincoln (28m), with it’s castle. Cathedral and collection is in easy reach as are Cleethorpes and Grimsby up the coast.
If you need a fix of kiss-me-quick action, Mablethorpe is 8 miles down the coast. Sutton on sea is more genteel and a couple of miles further. Both have wide, clean sandy beaches.
Then there's the windmills, lots of them, many in working order and grinding organic flours. |

Your comfortable and pretty bedroom with private bathroom has far reaching rural views of open fields and St. Boltoph’s church in the distance.
Tea & coffee making facilities are provided of course but we‘re happy to make you a fresh pot of tea or coffee on request.
We provide eco friendly cruelty free soap and shampoo and good quality fluffy cotton towels & bath robes. There is also a TV, hair dryer & some paperbacks you can take home if you‘ve not finished reading!.
The guest bedrooms are on the first floor so there are stairs to climb. | Room Rate
