| La Cachette B&B is close to Sarlat and Domme, in the heart of the beautiful Dordogne. Situated in an elevated position within in a small hamlet, overlooking the village of Grolejac with wonderful views across to the Dordogne Valley. The river Dordogne winds its way past the village. There are 2 restaurants within walking distance (one on the lake).
La Cachette offers 2 large comfortable double rooms (one with additional single bed), with exposed beams and seating area. Both rooms are named after two of the local chateaux:
Montfort: Large double room with lovely views down the valley and a large private shower room.
Fenelon: Large double (additional single bed) with views across to wooded hills and ensuite shower room.
Our generous continental breakfast is served on the terrace or in the beamed salon. Guests have use of a sunny terrace, which is a lovely place to sit, enjoy a glass of wine and take in the wonderful view. There is a shady, terraced, woodland garden to relax in.

We regret that because the garden is terraced, the property is not suitable for young children. |

Things To Do
|
| Grolejac offers 2 restaurants within walking distance, a lovely lake which has a sandy beach and is safe for swimming, tennis court, canoe hire on the river Dordogne and an excellent cycle path with bike hire. There is also a golf course and horse riding close by.
La Cachette is close to medieval Sarlat, Domme and the riverside villages of La Roque Gageac and Beynac. Rocamadour is an hour's drive away. Historic bastide villages, chateaux, picturesque villages clinging to rock faces, prehistoric caves with paintings and grottes with underground river are just a few of the attractions in this beautiful region of France. |

| Grolejac is on the D704 between Sarlat and Gourdon.
By road we are approx 40 mins from the A20 autoroute, exit no.55 Souillac.
There are 4 airports all within a 2 hour drive; Limoges, Bergerac, Toulouse and Rodez. All operate low cost flights and car hire.
