Things To Do
|
| Monte Sant' Angelo is a fantastic place to relax and spend time, however if you want to explore, from Monte Sant' Angelo you can venture into the Foresta Umbra, a landscape of limes, laurels, and towering yews, populated with foxes and gazelles.
The accommodation is self-catering, therefore you will need to purchase your vegetables at the greengrocers or the Saturday market, bread is bought at the baker's and meat at the butcher's. When you eat out, each restaurant is unique with its own flavours and charm.
During August and the summer months there is folk dancing, parades, children's entertainment and an outdoor cinema in the town square, but this is a place that can be visited all year round. Every night after dinner the town centre is thronging with residents out on their passeggiata. Sit at one of the bars under the trees, relax and watch life in Italy, seemingly unaffected by the outside world.
The climate is good, the beaches are a short 20 minute drive away.
