The Ark is a place for long walks and long sleeps. A place to laugh, love and remember. A lovely quiet getaway. It's a charming 2-room cottage with bath and kitchen. The winged-roof main room has a Q bed, woodstove, comfortable furniture. The adjacent room has 2 twins, desk, books, games. The sleeping loft has a double futon. | From Highway#101, take the San Anselmo, Sir Francis Drake Blvd. exit. Drive west thru San Anselmo, Lagunitas to Olema (45 Minutes) Turn R onto Highway #1 (north) for 1 block. Turn L on Bear Valley Rd. Drive 2.3 miles to a STOP sign. Turn L , back onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd., take the next L on Balboa Ave. Follow the double yellow line around 2 sharp curves. Rosemary Cottage is !/2 mile up on the left. Watch for the post with #75. No other sign. Park by woodshed for Rosemary, to the right for Fir Tree, then up the stairs. The Ark is at 180 Highland Way. Go to Inverness, turn left on Inverness Way South, go up 3 block and turn left onto Highland Way go 1 mile up. Once on the driveway of 180, it's the first house on the right. The doors will be unlocked: enter and enjoy. |
