Directions

| From the north, travel on SH1 through the township, along Lake Terrace. Turn into Shepherd Rd., the 2nd turn on left, after the SH1 and SH5 (to Napier) junction,approx. 2 1/2 kms from the town centre. Travel up the hill on Shepherd Rd and take the 1st turn right (approx. 250 metres). This is Te Hepera St. "Ambleside B&B" is No. 5 towards the end of the cul de sac on the left.
From the south, travel on SH1 towards Taupo township. Just past the SH1 and SH5 junction (to Napier) there is a Mobil Gas Station. Do a u turn at the station and return to the Shepherd Rd turn off to the left. Then follow previous directions. |
