The Elephant Coast Guest House is situated in the town of St. Lucia, gateway to the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park, first World Heritage Site (1999) of South Africa.
The Guest House is set amidst a subtropical garden neighbouring the St. Lucia Nature Reserve where the forest trees reflects on a luxurious swimming pool. It has been given four star grading by the South African Tourism Grading Council and Highly recommended by the AA travel Guide
All the elegantly furnished rooms are decorated in a modern African style and each have their own patio. Double rooms, Twin or Triple rooms and a Family unit are available. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, hair dryers, wall safes, clock radios, hospitality trays, stocked bar fridges and luxury en suite bathrooms (bath & showers).
Your delicious breakfast, with fresh tropical fruit, is served on the terrace overlooking the garden. There are numerous restaurants in St. Lucia to choose from but dinner at the Guest House can be arranged on request (Minimum 6 guests).
The Elephant Coast Guest House also owns 4x4 Safari Vehicles with which guests, at special rates can go and experience an unforgettable excursion to the Hluhluwe / Imfolozi Game Reserve, half or full day & for the young at heart a game drive through the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park and a picnic at Cape Vidal Beach where you can swim & snorkel.
On your arrival a warm welcome awaits you in a home from home atmosphere.

You will be travelling on the N2 either from Durban (South Side) or from Johannesburg, Kruger Park, Swaziland, Pongola, Mkuze & Hluhluwe (North Side). Turn off the N2 High?Way at MTUBATUBA, which is still 27 km from St. Lucia. Take the R618 from Mtubatuba to ST. LUCIA. On arriving in St. Lucia, you would cross the bridge over the St. Lucia Estuary and reach a 3 way yield sign. Turn left & immediately right into BEACH ROAD. Take the second (2nd) street right, KINGFISHER STREET, the first (1ste) house on your LEFT is ELEPHANT COAST GUEST HOUSE, you have reached your destination - safe travelling!
