So much more than just a Bed & Breakfast, Zengarra has private suites in a huge house hidden from the world surrounded by grassy meadows shrubberies and bush in 75 acres. High on the slopes of Mount Greville, the decks and large swimming pool look out over the tree covered Scenic Rim. The Music Pavilion allows co-owner musician Christine to give musical interludes on the grand piano while you sip your wine then you can dine at the French antique table or sit on the deck under the stars before curling up on the chesterfield in front of a roaring log fire.
Crisp linen, towelling robes & decanters of port ensure a relaxing & memorable stay. The owners are seasoned world travellers with many years experience of living and working in different countries and their knowledge ensures your enjoyment. Tranquillity with nature, peace with yourself, beauty all around.

Things To Do

Live Music at Zengarra. Ask Christine and she will play you something to relax you, from Debussy’s Arabesque to Lloyd Webber’s Music of the Night. A group of friends may even want to bring their favourite song book and sing round the piano together to round of a meal at the end of a perfect day. Bush Walking. With 75 acres with Bush Trails and Orchard walks you may not want to leave the property but tear yourself away to one of the carefully planned 20 Bush Walks we have for you in the area ranging from a few hundred meter stroll to an amazing viewing point to grade 5 walks which reward you with unforgettable views over the Scenic Rim. Wine & Beer Trails We have trails mapped out for you to wineries and a trail to some of the pubs and hotels you thought only existed on film sets. Follow our “Antique Shops Café’s and Art Galleries” Trail and come back with a wonderful souvenir of your visit. Go Gliding or ballooning, enjoy waterskiing or fishing. Go for a Scenic Drive.

The antique furnishings complete the beautiful blue suite which has a bath with shower and a king size or twin beds		Room Rate

Green Suite
A King size or twin beds and a bdoor to the decks so you can breakfast looking over the lawns. A specially large shower suitable for our less able guests or just save water and shower together		Room Rate

Red Suite
A private suite with a large bathroom with a comfy settee in the lounge/dining are so if you wish complete privacy its yours.		Room Rate

Directions

From the Gold Coast. Circa 1hr 30 mins. Drive to Nerang and then Canungra, Beaudesert, Boonah and take the Boonah Fassifern Rad to the Cunningham Highway .Turn left, pass through Aratula and after 5 km turn left at the Spicer’s Gap/ Lake Moogerah Road turn. Proceed 6 km cross Coulson Creek Bridge. Look up at beautiful Mount Greville on your right. We are the second property on the right. There is a sign on the gate. Turn in and drive up the hill. Wave to the wallabies.
From Brisbane circa 1hr 15 mins. Take the Ipswich Motorway towards the Cunningham Highway exit and head to Aratula. Pass through Aratula and after 5 km turn left at the Spicer’s Gap/ Lake Moogerah Road turn. Proceed 6 km cross Coulson Creek Bridge. We are the second property on the right.
