| Welcome to our graded B&B in the tranquil town of Howick, the hub of the Midlands Waterfall Country, 1 hour from Durban and 4.5 hours from Johannesburg, South Africa. Situated 1.5 km from the N3, the guest house is in a beautiful country environment. Relax in a quiet landscaped bird and Japanese garden. For the weary traveller this B&B offers good value with a high standard of quality & security.
Your hosts Nicky & Norman live in the garden cottage connected by intercom, keeping the personal touch. After a long day's journey or outing, rejuvenate, relax, and experience the effects of a massage in our private Superior Spa (small fee to cover usage costs), sunbathing nearby on our secluded private lawn.
Breakfast & Dining:
English breakfast or alternatives by prior request is served in the log cabin type outdoor gazebo with dining and braai/ barbeque facilities. We have a courtesy fridge with soft drinks, etc. Many restaurants in the area. Shopping centre with SPAR including TOPS bottle store & ATM, post office, butcher, Scooters and hair dresser, etc. close by.
We have ADSL connection for E-Mail and Internet facilities plus computer and fax.
Guest House Accommodation Details: Exclusive use by guests. M-Net & Satellite TV, off street parking with remote controlled access, log cabin type outdoor gazebo. Two separate private sleeping wings. Malaria Free Area.
A: BARBET Wing: Two separate private Bedrooms. One double bedroom full en-suite [Bar1]AND one Double/single room with shower en-suite, [Bar2] Both with access to Japanese garden.
B: ROBIN Wing: One bedroom en-suite[Rob1] OR alternatively two rooms, one twin and one double sharing full bathroom [Rob1+2]. Access to bird garden.
All with bath and/or shower, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, fans and heaters. We thank you for not smoking indoors.
Also available we have a fully equipped 2 bedroom self catering garden cottage looking on to a Japanese garden. Has a separate vehicle entrance with secure parking. One room has a double bed and one has twin beds. It has a bathroom with shower over bath, lounge and dining area and a kitchen. This has not been graded as yet but is of a high standard. |
