The lodge offers six guestrooms with bed&breakfast or halfboard option for individual travellers and couples, while three self-contained units are ideal for guests wishing to look after their own meal arrangments. |

Things To Do

| Bighorn Country, where Aurum Lodge is located, is particularly suited for visitors who wish to enjoy unspoilt nature and engage in low-impact outdoor activities. Year-round activities include hiking, photography, wildlife observation, daytrips into the National Parks (as far as Lake Louise or the Columbia Icefields region), mountaineering. In summer, there is also trail riding, guided glacier hikes, canoe tours on the river or mine tours, cycling and rock climbing, whereas in winter guests can snow-shoe, ice-climb, go dog-sledding. |

For guests who like to prepare their own meals and do not require access to lodge facilities, we offer two self-contained units for couples in the cottage, as well as a two-bedroom apartment suite, which can sleep up to five. All units have full kitchen, bath w. shower, central heating and wood stove.

| Aurum Lodge is located off Hwy 11, 40 km (25 minutes) east of Banff Park Boundary at Saskatchewan River Crossing. We are about 1.5 hours drive north of Lake Louise; 2.5 hours drive south of Jasper; roughly 3.5 hours drive from either Calgary or Edmonton airports.
