| Peter and Jennie Pennink invite you to stay at their ‘gite’ in Cazillac which nestles in the beautiful Rionnet valley in the Haut Quercy.
The gite is a former farmhouse on a smallholding with a beautiful barn and an abundance of walnut and fruit trees. The house is very traditional with exposed beams and old French furniture. There are three bedrooms (2 doublebedded and one twin) under the eaves and there is one ground floor double bedded room. All the rooms have a private shower and toilet. |

Things To Do
|
| One of France’s loveliest areas with lush valleys, rocky plateaus, rivers and streams, the Lot and the Correze are fast becoming a well known secret. The Dordogne River is near us, meandering through beautiful gorges with places to picnic, hire a canoe or swim. Rocamadour, the second most visited site in France, is a real treat with something for everyone to see or do. Turenne with its eleventh century chateau perched high on a craggy pinnacle is fifteen minutes drive. Curemonte, Autoire, Loubressac and Carennac are some of many special villages to visit - as are the caves at Padirac or, further afield, at Lascaux.
Or venture further afield to Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, Brive, Sarlat, La Roque Gageac, Domme, St Céré, Cahors, Figeac, the Célé and Lot Valleys and St Cirq Lapopie.
There are activities for everyone – walking, swimming, tennis, canoeing, golf, riding, cycling, pottery, painting and drawing …… or simply sitting and relaxing.

| We are in the Lot department in South West France near to the medieval town of Martel and about twenty minutes from the N20 motorway. This area is synonymous with the Dordogne River valley, Rocamadour, caves, beautiful scenery, fortified villages and medieval architecture. Limoges, Toulouse, Bergerac and Rodez airports are within easy driving distance and with good deals to be had . It is peaceful and stress-free and it is your hosts’ aim to ensure that your stay is both relaxed and happy.
