Greenbrae Farmhouse is a 19th Century Farmhouse extended to provide comfortable ground floor bed and breakfast accommodation. In the 2004 and 2005 Aberdeen & Grampian Northern Lights Tourism Awards, Greenbrae Farmhouse received a highly commended certificate in the Visitor Experience category. Greenbrae is graded as 3 stars.

A warm welcome awaits you at this rural retreat. You will be greeted with refreshments on your arrival that you can take in the sunroom, which has extensive views over the rolling Buchan countryside.

Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 9.00 or earlier if you wish, when you can sample fresh eggs from our own hens. Evening meals are available by arrangement.

Our library is at your disposal and contains a wide selection of books, maps, local information and a reference section to help you identify the wildlife you will encounter. From Greenbrae you will be able to explore Banff & Buchan

Things To Do

There are plenty of castles to visit. The Whisky distilleries of Speyside are within easy driving distance. The coast has miles of golden beaches, dramatic cliffs and picturesque fishing villages. There are many golf courses, including one in Longside itself and the famous Cruden Bay course within easy reach. Art galleries include Duff house within which Jack Vettriano exhibits. Museums range from the prehistory Archaeolink to Aden Country Park working farm. If you have any particular interest in visiting this superb part of Scotland - genealogy, architecture or natural history - we will endeavour to source information for you.

Directions

From Peterhead take the A950 towards New Pitsligo. Turn left at the crossroads in the centre of Longside, signposted Inverquhomery. Turn second right, signposted Inverquhomery and follow this road out of the village. After 1/2 mile Greenbrae Farmhouse is on the right hand side.

From Aberdeen take the A90 towards Peterhead the fork left onto the A952 towards Fraserburgh. After the village of Clola turn right signposted to Longside, Greenbrae Farmhouse is two miles on the left.
