| Realou Franschhoek Guest House is a small private Five Roomed Four Star Guest House owned by George and Maria Bester situated in one of Franschhoek’s oldest Houses (1868) located right in the middle of Franschhoek Village. Realou Franschhoek stretches across a block on both van Wijk and Cabriere Street on the bottom exclusive vineyard half of Franschhoek Village. Realou Franschhoek is a historical monument painstakingly restored with yellowwood beams quarry tiles, Oregon Flooring, Corrugated Roofing and Cape Dutch Gable. At the core of its 1860’s charm lies Georges state of the art technical Infrastructure including computer and DSL internet and piped music in each room. Maria has elegantly decorated each room with the finest fabrics and up market finishes. It has three main suites in the original house and a two en-suite bedroom garden cottage. Realou Franschhoek has a heated swimming pool with many bubbling water features set in a lush garden to provide a peaceful and restful environment for enjoying the many Gastronomical and Aesthetic delights of this quaint little village situated in the heart of the Winelands This is just the escape needed to recover from ones hectic travels in City of Cape Town. | Away from the Cape Town pass the winelands one stop Engen petrol station as well as the first Stellenbosch turnoff after the petrol station. Take the first Stellenbosch turnoff and keep on traveling to Stellenbosch. This road will end into a t junction. Turn right at the t junction and travel into and straight through Stellenbosch no turnoffs and turn right into over Hellshoogte pass after 15 minutes without turning off on this road you will come to at t junction turn right to franschhoek .19 km over bridge and once in franschhoek turn right at spar .Realou is 500m down on the left hand side . |
