Oude Wellington Estate

Enjoy a stay on our historical Cape Dutch Wine Estate set in the most unique and romantic valley, with its beautiful gables and traditional hospitality. The thatched buildings are restored and have all the added little luxuries you expect. It is also home to an unusual Country Restaurant in a working Brandy distillery. Be enchanted by the skills of John Tecklenburg the well trained owner/chef. Service and hospitality match the ever changing menu of local and international cuisine. Oude Wellington is more than a restaurant and Guesthouse it is passion for food and wine. English/German/Afrikaans.

Our scenic self-catering vineyard cottage is for the whole family (one bedroom with en-suite bathroom, lounge and kitchenette). At our discretion and other guests' courtesy we welcome children. The use of the playground and swimming pool, however, is at parents own risk. We have no rules when to check in or out, or when you have to have your breakfast, we simply bank on your discretion.
