Imagine a long walk on an endless beach, perhaps a round of golf on the adjoining links, or just lazing on the veranda enjoying the tranquillity of our semi rural setting. This is all possible when you stay in our tastefully furnished 2 bedroom (1 queen 1 twin) Lockwood cottage. With a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering, laundry, shower room and comfortable lounge you will find it easy to lay back and relax perhaps reading a book, listening to the stereo or watching TV (30 Channels). As we only take one party of guests at a time all this is for your private use. A 300 meter stroll takes you to the beach. Situated only 1 hour north of Wellington it is the ideal stop over either going to or coming from the Inter-Island ferry.
Whether overseas visitors or fellow kiwis you will appreciate the spaciousness and quality of our cottage. If you choose theh breakfast option you may either join us in our home for a lingering breakfast or you may choose to have it served in the cottage.
Bob is a cabinetmaker who restores antiques and makes furniture in his home workshop and Maggie is the inspiration in the landscaping of our large grounds.
