'Smithfield' is located in the heart of Aberdeenshire, and serves as an ideal base to explore both Aberdeenshire's famous Castle Country and Coastal Trail. We are just a few miles from National Trust properties at Haddo House, Pitmedden Gardens and Fyvie Castle, with easy access to many quaint fishing villages, and challenging golf courses. We can supply plenty of information on all local tourist attractions and what's on, and are happy to suggest relevant itineraries to suit the interests of mosts guests.

Just 30 minutes north of Aberdeen, 'Smithfield' is situated on the outskirts of the small hamlet of Ythanbank, which is half way between Ellon and Methlick, on the B9005.
