| Directions From New York City & South:
Take NY Thruway (I-87) North to Albany and follow signs for Northway (I-87)
Stay on Northway (I-87) to Exit 20 (Route 149) (second exit for Rutland VT)
Follow Route 149 East until joins Route 4 in Fort Anne, NY
Left on to Route 4 North
Continue on Route 4 East into Vermont
Leave Route 4 at Exit 2 onto Route 22A North (Vergennes)
Follow Route 22A until Orwell
In Orwell, turn right onto Route 73 East until reach Brandon.
In Brandon join Route 7 South for about 1 mile
At the Monument continue on Route 73 East (Park Street) slight left turn
The Lilac Inn is on Park Street and is the seventh house on the right.
