| Our Shenandoah Valley farmhouse bed and breakfast in Luray Virginia dates back to the early 1800’s. Piney Hill Bed and Breakfast, although located in Luray, VA is just outside the town limits on 2 acres in a peaceful country setting. Panoramic mountain views of the Blue Ridge, Skyline Drive and Massanutten Mountains can be witnessed and enjoyed from your room, the Rosebud Cottage, the wrap around porch, the garden area, the outdoor Jacuzzi or the massage room which is located in the recently remodeled smokehouse. Our Luray, Virginia bed and breakfast is centrally located to all major attractions. We are minutes from the world famous “Luray Caverns” and the Shenandoah National Park on the Skyline Drive! |

| hiking trails and overlooks along the Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park; many with waterfalls, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and tubing on the Shenandoah River, horseback riding at Fort Valley Stable or skiing and snow tubing at either Massanutten or Bryce Ski Resorts. Massanutten Ski Resort has also created an All Season Water Park as a spring, summer, fall or winter activity. Enjoy some of the Virginia wineries in the area such as: Gardino Cellars, Oasis, Rappahannock Cellars, Farfelu and Horton Cellars just to name a few. enjoy the Luray Caverns, in addition to Endless Caverns Cave, Shenandoah Caverns, and Skyline Caverns, New Market Battlefield and Museum and many of the landmarks throughout the Valley. There are also many treasures to be found in the "Luray Virginia" area at local antique shops, indoor and outdoor Flea Markets, auctions and yard sales. | | The Mark Ruffner Suite
The Mark Ruffner Suite offers 2 spacious rooms and a full private bath in the upstairs wing of the Main House. The bedroom has a queen sized bed situated between 3 windows with spectacular views of the Skyline Drive and Massanutten Mountains, a sitting area by the windows for reading and conversing and an all season fireplace that offers a warm romantic ambiance. The suite room is equipped with a lounge area for watching movies from our large VHS/DVD video collection or cable TV as not to miss your favorite shows! A table for 2 allows you the option of a private breakfast for 2 or you can enjoy breakfast and conversation with the other guests in the main dining room. A refrigerator for snacks and beverages and a coffee maker are provided for your convenience. A full sized bed is also in the suite room for 2 additional guests in your party; add $25 per person. Directions

| Directions from Skyline Drive: Exit off of Skyline Drive at the Thorton Gap/Panarama exit onto US 211 traveling WEST towards Luray. Go approx. 8 miles on US 211W. Take the US 340 Business S ramp towards Luray. Turn left onto US 340 BR SOUTH at the bottom of the ramp. Go up to the stop light, continue straight on 340 S BR and travel 3.2 miles to Mill Creek Crossroads; RT 633 and make a right (the road is right beside the business; J Rex Burners), go 1.7 miles, over the railroad tracks and to the stop sign, continue through the stop sign and go up about 1/2 of a mile and make a left onto Piney Hill Road. The entrance to the driveway is exactly one mile up on the right, just past the house. |
