| A secluded, sole occupancy lodge on 168 acres, Skyview Magic is a spectacular base winter or summer. Heated indoor 25 metre pool, indoor climbing wall, 3 km walking track with outrageous 360 views, the silence of this private paradise is hard to match. The lodge works well for 1 or 2 families, small corporate retreats, couples, or ski groups wanting to be central to all that Queenstown, Wanaka, and Arrowtown have to offer. Caterers can be recommended if self-catering does not appeal. In-house luxurious massage available.
Warm, comfortable, rustic, and roomy, the hand crafted timber structure is situated 300 metres above the Wakatipu Basin in the midst of organic young forests and paddocks, surrounded by mountains, and well away from any traffic noise or neighbors. 4 huge bedrooms with ensuites plus another full bathroom with bath and double shower, double garage, full laundry facilities, large stainless steel self-contained kitchen with EVERYTHING, 2 lounge areas, high ceilings, wood burner, sunny verandahs, an outside bath, big comfy furniture, funky ensuites, bird life, gardens, heated floors, timber puzzle walls, driftwood bannisters, an outside bed…the list goes on and on.
Jef and Robina, owners of Skyview, have lived in this area since the early 1980’s and have a wealth of knowledge and first hand experience on foot, kayaks, mountain bikes, crampons, and skis with much of the local terrain, mountains, rivers, lakes, tracks, skiing/boarding (either commercial, touring, or helicopter accessed), and most of the local activity operators. They are happy to advise on any ideas or queries you might have or leave you totally to your own devices.
