Prospect Cottage is a charming, spacious, comfortably furnished three bedroomed home suitable for up to 6 people. It is also an ideal venue for honeymooners as they would have space and the privacy of the entire house and garden to themselves.
Sip drinks on the elevated wooden deck with panoramic views of the lagoon and the 'Knysna Heads' or enjoy the view from the lounge/dining room and bedrooms. Watch the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe Train puff out of the station and across the lagoon while you sip your sundowners on the patio.

Second bedroom, fully carpeted with double bed and built in cupboards and dressing table. This bedroom looks out over the lagoon with all its attractions.
Third bedroom, carpeted with two single beds and cupboards. It also overlooks the lagoon and the railway bridge.
Full family bathroom, with bath, separate shower, basin and toilet. Toiletries supplied.
Spacious kitchen with stove, oven, microwave oven. Fridge/freezer,automatic washing machine,crockery, cutlery,etc. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are always a selection of teas and filter coffee in the cupboards for your use.
Wooden deck furnished with outdoor furniture.
Linen, bedding [duvets] and bathroom and kitchen towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
We have 2 Infants cots and bedding available suitable for up to 18 months of age.
The house has burglar bars and an alarm for added safety.
Children of all ages most welcome.
Paved outdoor patio with table and benches and built in braai (barbeque) facilities, plus grid and tongs. There is also a potjie pot.
Small garden with wonderful bird life.
Please note: Minimum stay of 3 nights preferred. We do not take one night bookings.

| The Knysna Heads for walking, fishing, bars and cafes, snorkeling, diving and much much more
A ferry ride across the lagoon is a great way to see the famous Knysna Heads and get a full view of the lagoon.
Recreational facilities in Knysna include sundowner cruises, forest walks, sailing, flying adventures, whale watching, horse riding, angling, bird watching, trips on the Choo Tjoe steam train, mountain biking, golf, adventure sports and, of course, exploring the picturesque Knysna waterfront, museums, art galleries and trips to the famous Knysna Heads.
The list of what to do during your stay in Knysna is endless. Embark on a deep-sea fishing charters or closer to the shore you can surf, kayak, canoe or cycle. Knysna is an adventure centre. Abseil, hike, white river raft or walk through the Tsitsikama Forest. Choose from birdwatching, or simply lazing on the many surrounding scenic beaches, or shop at local charming boutiques, interior decorating shops, art galleries and craft markets in the nearby village centre.
Monkeyland is unique as a primate sanctuary. It is home to many varied species of monkey from several continents which were captive bred prior to their release at Monkeyland. Directions to Get There :
From Cape Town
Driving on the N2 cross the White Bridge, drive along the edge of the lagoon until the first set of traffic lights.
Continue along the Main Road past the Total Garage and take the next street left.
This is Short Street.
Then take the second road to the left which is Agnar Street and is a cul-de-sac.
Prospect Cottage is No. 23, on the left hand side of the road.
From Port Elizabeth
Drive straight through the village and after the BP Garage take the second street right (Short Street).
Then the second street left, Agnar St and the house is No 23.
