Things To Do

With some of Scotland's most famous landmarks, you'll never be short of exciting things to see and do throughout the Kingdom of Fife. As well as famous golf courses, the East of Scotland has many other interesting and delightful places to visit. There are many attractive fishing villages within easy driving distance, in the immediate area is Dunfermline Abbey, the traditional burial place for Scottish Royalty, including the famed Robert the Bruce (1274-1329). Directions

Dunfermline lies within convenient travelling distance to many locations as the following map reveals. Edinburgh and its airport are less than thirty minutes drive (rush hour permitting). Perth and Stirling are about thirty minutes away. Glasgow, St Andrews and Dundee are about an hour's drive.

Pitreavie Guest House lies on the corner of the intersection of the main southern access road to Dunfermline, Queensferry Road (A823) and Aberdour Road (B916). When approached from the M90 the easiest route is to turn off at Junction Two to Dunfermline and follow the road into Dunfermline. You will cross three roundabouts then arrive at a set of traffic lights. Take the right filter lane and turn right. The entrance to the car-park is the first opening on the right.
