‘Dodona’ Bed & Breakfast nestles into a quiet river valley and was once part of Andries Pretorius ’s large farm. It is still in the family one hundred and fifty years later and continues to offer the hospitality and tranquillity of an age long since gone.

At the bottom of the park-like gardens lies “THE BOATHOUSE”, which was created out of old barns and stables. It contains two private and spacious very comfortably furnished apartments – each with fireplace and kitchenette - looking out across a small lake, where birds abound, onto the beautiful Magaliesberg mountains beyond. Delicious country breakfasts are served at the main farmhouse, and there are delightful restaurants close by.

We are part of the Magaliesberg Meander and Cradle of Humankind, so there is much to see and do. You could also take the canoe out onto the lake and just relax, enjoying the haven of peace and birds that is ‘Dodona’!

Weekends: R420.00 per person sharing, B&B, or R520.00 single Midweek: R370.00 per person sharing, B&B or R470.00 single.
