Things To Do

| The area offers peace and tranquility, country walks, fishing, golf, cycling and horse riding all year round, plus the chance to enjoy French rural charm in local villages and towns. Lake Vassiviere is just 30 minutes drive away for summer picnics and swimming. Winter sports are available within a 2 hour drive at Mont d'Or.
In Limousin, you won't encounter the usual tourist crowds found in other regions, but you will enjoy yourself far more and see a glimpse of the "real" France.
Haute Vienne has it all!
Lush green rolling countryside, hills and valleys, an abundance of woodland, wildlife and lakes and rivers which stretch out westwards from the Massif centrale range of mountains.
The capital of the Haute-Vienne and also the Limousin is Limoges, the liveliest town, with a cosmopolitan feel to it, packed with boutique's, bars and restaurants.

The Dahlia room is large, bright, west facing, beautifullydecorated in warm terracotta.
It is ideal for a family because it sleeps four people in great comfort: two in a bunk bed and two more in a double bed. it could not be handier for the bathroom (which it shares with the lilac room however you more often than enough have it to yourselves.) which is immediately nextdoor.

This may well be our most luxurious room. A huge, king-size bed ensures a perfect night's sleep for you and your loved one. Fancy a shower? Imagine waking up in a bright and beautiful bedroom that is decorated with all the yellow gorgeousness of a sunflower. Then imagine leaping out of bed and looking out of the window at the green of Sunset House's grounds. There is no better way to start the day.... except, perhaps for our breakfast!
The Sunflower Room sleeps three people: two in a double bed and on in a single.

Directions

| We are 9 hours drive from Calais.
1/2 hour from Limoges Airport. Flights daily from London Stanstead East Midlands and Liverpool.
1 hour from Poitiers Airport. Flights twice daily from London Stanstead.
Trains run hourly to Paris (and are very cheap) from La Dorat (7 kms away from Sunset House) which link at Poitiers to Eurostar that goes straight to the UK.
Airport pick-ups and drop offs are available on booking.
To get to Sunset House from Limoges Airport or the A20 Motorway leave the Motorway at Junction 23b and take the sign for Magnac laval for 17 kms, go into the town,straight to the town square and take your first left at the traffic lights beside the flower shop, the road is the D7 to Bellac, follow this road for approx 1km down the bank over the River Bram and we are 100ms on your left.
