Covane Fishing & Safari Lodge

Situated on the southern banks of the Massingir Dam, Covane Fishing & Safari Lodge has camping facilities, traditional, reed-built units and two self-drive and self-catering houseboats on the dam.

Covane is an ideal destination for sport fishing, with Tiger, Bream, Chinese Carp and Barbel in the waters.

The Lodge offer breakfast, lunch and dinner on a pre-order basis.

Activities available include fishing, as well as cruises on the dam in a safari boat. The boat goes all the way up the Rio Elefantes Gorge and provides a wonderful opportunity for game viewing and bird watching.
