The lodge was originally designed to be a private home for the travel experienced owners looking for a hide away from the European winter month. Since they are always interested to meet people from all over the world they decided to open their home to people who like travelling as much as they do.The modern and spacious design of the lodge provides breathtaking sea views. The African arts blend in perfectly with the modern design and create a unique luxury atmosphere.

Sea Star Lodge only offers the highest quality of goose down pillows and duvets. Anti-allergic bedding is also available for your convenience. All rooms are featured by silent panasonic aircondioning units, bar fridge, underfloor heating, heated towel rails and en suite bath with sep. shower. A hiking trail passes by in front of the Lodge and takes you to the Walker Bay Nature Reserve where 13km of untouched sandy beaches invite you to picnic and enjoy the most stunning sunsets. The trail sidles along the high cliffs of de Kelders where you have the worldwide best possibilities for land based whale watching between July and December.
