| The area around Melle (nearest town) is full of Romanesque chateaux and art treasures. Melle has a weekly market, swimming pool and silver mines, which are well worth a visit... Lezay which is 5 mins' away has the largest Tuesday market in SW France, animals to fruit and veg'. Lezay also has banks resturants, shops etc, we are 40 mins from Futuroscope in Poitiers, not forgetting Lambon water park with it's man-made beach, 15 mins away.... |
