The Garden House B&B

This Scottish Bed and Breakfast offers guests a peaceful stay in a comfortable, warm modern farm house (built 1995) with private bathroom for each bedroom, and additional facilities for walkers, cyclists and riders.

The farm extends to 400 acres (160 hectares) with cattle, sheep, crops and woodland. In addition we have our own loch which is just 5 minutes' walk from the house.

Whitmuir Loch is a Site of Special Scientific Interest noted for its rich variety of flora and fauna. Fishing for pike and perch is permitted. The loch makes a wonderful giant swimming pool on warm summer days and is the perfect spot for a picnic.

We are open all year and offer 4 en-suite twin/double/family rooms. Pets are welcome as long as they can make friends with our dogs, the Spaniel, Holly, and Golden Retreiver, Monty.

We are pleased to provide accommodation for business visitors to the area – from a one night stay to several months Monday to Friday for those on contract employment.

Early breakfasts are available, packed lunches, and simple, wholesome evening meals. Please ask for details.

Golf, riding, walking, fishing all available locally. Edinburgh 40 miles.
