Elephants Drift
Elephants Drift Main Camp is charming and rustic, consisting of a number of separate thatched buildings arranged around a large central lawn. It is situated on a riverbed under huge shady trees. After good summer rains the small dam on which the camp is situated pushes water up to the edge of the outdoor living area

The camp was rebuilt and refurbished in early 2010 and consists of 5 large en-suite rooms, with private verandas and secluded bush views. One of these is a family room, which sleeps up to 5. There is a comfortable lounge, bar and dining area, a covered barbeque area near the river waterhole, and a swimming pool.

The newly built and picturesque Parrot Tree Tented Camp is situated in one of the more remote and most beautiful parts of our wilderness property

It consists of three two person walk-in tents, one Meru safari tent which accommodates four people, a kitchen, and outdoor living area under the trees. All are on decks on the edge of a cliff overlooking a magical riverbed and waterhole.
The ablutions are supplied with hot and cold water and the camp runs on solar power.
At Elephants Drift individual rooms can be booked on a full-board basis for one or more people.
You are also able to book exclusive use of the whole camp for groups of 4 to 10 people on either a self-catering or fully-catered basis and at discounted and affordable rates. Two game drives or walks a day are included with all options.
If you book the whole camp, both Main camp and Parrot Tree Tented Camp will be available for you and your group’s exclusive use during your stay. You can decide whether you wish to spend all your time at just one of the camps or part of your time at each.
An option is also to do a day’s walking safari to Parrot Tree Tented Camp through the wilderness hills and along the riverbeds. You can spend a night or two here and then walk back to Main Camp. Your personal belongings will be transported by vehicle.
