Kronendal Heritage

Kronendal Heritage is a magnificent Country Estate, dating back to 1880 and built in the old Cape Dutch style, surrounded by wonderfully kept landscape gardens. Over the past years the estate has been lovingly renovated.

The house offers all the comforts of Western European standards. The bathrooms in particular were carefully renovated to fit in with the Mansion`s historical value.

The whole estate is surrounded by old palm trees and indigenous plants. The complex irrigation system in combination with the freshwater of our own borehole makes sure, that all plants thrive and prosper throughout the year. The pool (15m x3 m) in the middle of Kronendal´s magnificent garden is bathed in sunlight all through the day and comes fully equipped with lounge chairs, umbrella and bath towels. The pool is equipped with a jetstream for underwater massage.

Brutus Suite: Bedroom with a king-size bed and inbuilt cupboard. Bathroom with modern wash bowls, shower, toilet, towel radiator and heated floor. Elegant dining room with dining table for at least 8 persons. Kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, dining table. Direct access to the patio, fireplace and heated private pool. The suite has two terraces with table, chairs and sunumbrella and one patio with teaktable, 8 chairs under a sunumbrella, surrounded by franchipani, olive trees and lavender. Private barbecue area with table and chairs under a thatch roof.

Loft Suite: A two room suite, both with aircondition. A fantastic view across the mountains and the Hout Bay valley. Full equipped with coach, armchairs and dining table with 4 chairs. SAT TV, HIFI, DVD and wireless lan. Full equipped kitchenet and minibar. Bedroom with a Queen size bed, inbuilt cupboard and integrated bathroom with modern wash- bowl, shower, sitzbath, toilet and towelradiator. A private sun deck with an outdoor shower, teaktable, chairs, sunumbrella and sunloungers - surrounded by oleander and hibiscus plants. A breathtaking view to the mountains and beach.

Nora Suite: Cosy living space. Stylish equipped with coach, dining table with 4 chairs, heated floor, TV, DVD, HiFi and wireless lan. Large bedroom with a King size bed, inbuilt cupboard and dressing table; heated floor. Bathroom with an open shower, two modern wash bowls, toilet and towel radiator. Full equipped kitchenet. Minibar. Beautiful private terrace with table, chairs and sunumbrella with a breathtaking view to the mountains.

Cottage Suite: Beautiful suite in a comfortable cottage style, cozy living room with couch, armchair and writing desk,
TV, DVD, HiFi and wireless lan. Large bedroom with King-Size bed, cabinet and commode. Bathroom with modern wash bowl, shower, bath tube, toilet, heated floors and towel radiator. The generous kitchen is equipped with oven, fridge, minibar and dining table with 4 chairs. The terrace comes with table, chairs, benches and sun umbrella. A stunning view to the mountains.
