SET IN A PEACEFUL AND SECLUDED SPOT IN THE BEAUTIFUL BLACK MOUNATIONS. THE FRIENDLY 17TH CENTURY PUB IS AN IDEA BASE FOR WALKERS OR PONY TREKKERS. WE ARE ALSO WELL SITUATED TO EXPLORE THE BEAUTIFUL COUNTRYSIDE OR THE NORMAN, BORDERS, CASTLES, OLD CHURCHES, AND CHAPELS OF THE WELSH BORDERS. THE TOWN OF ABERGAVENNY IS ONLY 10 MILES AND THE SMALL BOOK SHOP TOWN OF HAY ON WYE IS 13 MILES, HEREFORD 25 MILES AND CARDIFF 40 MILES. LLANTHONY ABBEY IS ONLY 200 YARDS.
WE HAVE HAY BUFF ONLY 5 MILES AWAY I THINK ITS ONE OFF THE BEST VEIWS IN WALES. WHERE I BELIVE YOU CAN ON A CLEAR DAY SEE NINE COUNTYS OF WALES AND ENGLAND SO DON’T FORGET TO BRING YOUR CAMARA.

How to find us
A 465 Abergavenny to Hereford rd. 3 miles outside Abergavenny take the sign that says Llanvihangel Crucorney/ Skirrid Inn /Llanthony Abbey at the Skirrid Inn turn down the hill then follow signs to Llanthony Abbey about six miles. Carry on till the Small village of Llanthony then stay on that road thought the village. We are 200 yards past the Abbey turning.
