We have three, luxury, stone-built cottages / gites to let, for a superb holiday in this wonderful part of Languedoc Roussillon, France. Surrounded by vineyards with a large swimming pool & pool house, they sleep 6 persons, 2/4 persons and 5 persons respectively. This allows a maximum of 15 people for those large family holidays, if rented together, or if you prefer, we can accommodate you on a Bed and Breakfast basis. Close to the city of Carcassonne, we are an ideal base for holidays in this wonderful region of France
Domaine de Palatz is an U-shaped property built around a centre courtyard, consisting of three, separate, spacious newly refurbished cottages. All are individually designed with modern facilities,yet retain their rustic character with thick stone walls and original beams.
Let together or separately, all of our cottages are comfortably furnished, fully equipped and have separate entrances.
Cots can be provided, whilst pool towels are available on request.
The swimming pool is 12m x 6m and is shared between the cottages & the chambre d' hote. With underwater flood lights, it is totally enclosed for security, thus offering a sheltered haven for sunbathing, with a fully equipped pool house and terrace. There is a separate BBQ and dining tables, plus a large dining table to seat fourteen people for larger families. Surrounded by rockeries, in a vast garden, where you can admire stunning views of the Black Mountains, the Pyrenees and the fabulous sunsets, we know that your holiday at the Domaine de Palatz will be all that you envisaged.

Things To Do
|
| There are several lakes within an hour of Carcassonne, which offer swimming, sunbathing and water sports. Canoeing and rafting are also available on the lakes and rivers in the mountains. Walkers of all levels are spoilt for choice with the enormous variety of hiking terrain both on the plain and in the mountains. The Canal du Midi is close to Laure offering walkers and cyclists many kilometres of beautiful towpath to enjoy. Boats are available for hire by the day.
Laure Minervois itself, has a post office, bar/restaurant, tabac/grocers, general store, bakers, butchers, chemist, doctors. There are also several private and co-operative caves for sampling the local wines and bars/restaurants and cafe's, plus supermarkets and convenience shops all within a 3 to 15 minute drive from the Domaine de Palatz at Laure, Caunes, Trebes, Villeneuve, Pyriac and Rieux.and of course Carcassonne.
