Corte Armonica is the ideal place to enjoy nature, beauty and silence and yet be able to reach Florence just in a few minutes, park the car and plunge in the centre of art, shopping and cultural events.
In the morning you get up amused by the singing of the birds and after a tasty and reach organic breakfast on our east terrace (or in front of the fireplace in winter), you can choose to go to Mugello and visit the unspoilt countryside and villages with beautiful home food restaurants, or go to Barberino Outlet and the Lake of Bilancino, or the Park of Villa Demidoff…
Or simply you can decide to take a stroll in our park, admire the oak woods nearby and visit our organic vegetable garden. If you like and you have given us a notice, we can book an esthetical treatment like massage, pedicure or manicure for you.
In the evening you can sip your wine enjoying a full view of Fiesole and Florence on our south terrace, or even from your luxury, well furnitured room. You will enjoy a pleasant home atmosphere in a top design house, with a very good, caring service.

Things To Do
|
| The Etruscan town of Fiesole and the city of Florence offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy art, palaces, museums, monuments, churches and exhibitions. You will not have enough time to visit everything!
Our B&B is in the middle of the beautiful Florentine countryside. The hills and the woods are perfect to take a walk or to bike. We provide bike rental (5 euro a day).
In Fiesole and nearby hills there are many famous villas and small castles with historical gardens which you can visit.
Fiesole, with shops and restaurants is at 4km. Florence is at 8 km. The Chianti is at half an hour. Less known – but very enjoyable Mugello is at 20 min. If you have time and you want to be off the crowd, you can dedicate one day to the unspoilt mountains of Casentino towards Arezzo. And, of course, you can visit Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca and much much more……
Eventually, if you want to reach the sea, you can go to Pisa or Viareggio (one hour) and half way you find Montegrotto with a very modern spa and a very famous thermal cave.

Directions
|
| BY CAR:
The best way to reach and enjoy the B&B is by car.
- Coming from MILAN/BOLOGNA on the highway A1, you can avoid going into Florence by getting off at Barberino di Mugello. You must then take directions for Firenze-Vaglia. After Vaglia, just at the top of the hill, you will meet a small village called Pratolino. There you must immediately turn left for Bivigliano-Olmo-Fiesole. After a few km turn right for Olmo-Fiesole (not for Bivigliano), untill you reach a big crossing of 4 roads. Go straight on for Fiesole. You pass the hamlet Torre di Buiano. After 6km you will find on your right a small abandoned stone construction, while the road bends to the left. After 50m on your left there is a small asphalted road with a sign saying “B&B Corte Armonica Relais”. Take this road, go straight and you are at the B&B.
- Coming from ROME on the highway A1 you must get off at Firenze Sud
- Coming from PISA A11 on the highway A11 you must enter A1 direction Rome and get off at Firenze Sud.
- Coming from Florence Airport - you enter the highway A11 and proceed for the A1 in the direction of Rome for 4 km. Then you get off at Firenze Sud
In any case you have to cross part of Florence and follow the indications for Stadio/Fiesole. When you are at the "Stadio" follow the signs for Fiesole. You first reach Fiesole. See rest of directions below.
Once at Fiesole, you must go through the town, on a road up hill, (don't turn left for Caldine). Follow the signs for Olmo, always straight on the main road. After 4km from the main Piazza of Fiesole you will see an orange house on your left. After 300m, you see on your right a big yellow house, then the road bends right. After this bend on your right you see a small asphalted road that goes up hill and a sign with written "B&B Corte Armonica Relais". Take it, go straight, and you are at the B&B.
BY TRAIN/BUS:
The nearest railway station is Firenze Santa Maria Novella. From there leaving in front of the main exit of the station you can take the bus number 7 to Fiesole. From Fiesole Piazza Mino, only 4 km from the property, you can take the local bus number 45 which will bring you to the villa. Remember that bus 45 runs only a couple of times a day, depending on the day of the week.
We provide bycicle rental to reach Fiesole.

BY PLANE:
The nearest airport is Firenze Amerigo Vespucci. From there, you can take the bus to Santa Maria Novella station and then the bus number 7 (see also By Bus). You can also rent a car or take a taxi.
