Villa Cavour Bed and Breakfast
Welcome to Villa Cavour Bed & Breakfast, Hervey Bay!

Villa Cavour is located on the beautiful Hervey Bay promontory of Point Vernon, only 50 metres from the Esplanade. The “Queenslander” style home features three spacious air conditioned bedrooms with king beds and ensuites. The combined lounge and dining room makes for a cosy space to enjoy an “aperitivo” before dinner, a “caffe’ espresso” or a “cioccolata calda”, especially in winter time when the fireplace will warm you up.

The B & B is surrounded by gum and mango trees populated by friendly little birds that will entertain you with their singing and can be fed from your own balcony.

You can work out in the morning in the swimming pool, enjoy the spa or simply relax on the verandah in the afternoon while waiting for Rocco to cook you some fresh bread, grissini or pizza in the wood-fired oven on the gazebo.

Breakfast is your choice of full cooked or continental, served in your room, on your own balcony or in the dining room. A very hot cappuccino with a freshly-baked croissant can make you feel like you're in one of the famous Torino cafés!

If you're feeling peckish Rocco is more than happy to cook some traditional Piemontes specialties and can also teach you some of the tricks of the trade with a range of cooking classes, starting from the basics, such as how to prepare fresh egg pasta or Bolognese sauce, to some more difficult recipes, like antipasti and desserts.

We can organise and book a variety of activities for you, such as whale watching cruises (from July to early November), tours of Fraser Island and the Great Barrier Reef (Lady Elliot Island or Lady Musgrave Island), fishing cruises and many, many more. You can leave your car safe under our carport while you enjoy the tours or just a stroll down the Esplanade into town; pick-ups and drop-offs are available right from our door.

In Hervey Bay you can also enjoy fishing from the Urangan Pier or the beach, hire a bicycle or walk along the Esplanade, visit the Historical Museum or discover the indigenous world at Scrub Hill Community Farm. These are just a few suggestions but there are so many more things to do; that's why you have to come back another time and bring some friends with you!
