Swartberg Private Game Lodge

Swartberg Private Game Lodge is a unique, intimate 9 bedroomed Lodge on the Swartberg Private Wildlife Estate in the Little Karoo. The estate is at the foot of the majestic Swartberg Mountains, proclaimed a World Heritage Site as part of the Cape Floristic Region. The area is rich in natural flora, and the Estate is home to a wide variety of antelope, including Eland, Kudu, Lechwe, Nyala, Gemsbok, Impala, Springbok as well as Giraffe, Wildebeest and the endangered Cape Mountain Zebra. It is a predator-free environment, which makes it ideal for walking and mountain biking.

...with an understated sophistication best describes the Lodge. Fitting to the Karoo-colonial style, expansive patios provide insulation from the hot summer days, and cold winters when the snow lies high on the mountains above the Lodge.

Nine very spacious bedrooms provide the perfect retreat, with their décor inspired by the flora and fauna of the region. Extra-length beds can be made up twin, or king, and sleeper couches in the Deluxe rooms can accommodate children without compromising spaciousness. All rooms have private patios; six of the rooms have full en-suite bathrooms with three having en-suite showers. All rooms are equipped to cater for your every need including tea/coffee making facilities, personal safes, ceiling fans and hairdryers.

The Lodge experience includes guided game drives in an open game viewing vehicle, superb local cuisine with added flair and authentic hospitality.
